The Indian government has once again banned several Chinese mobile apps amid the ongoing standoff with China on the border. According to information, 118 more Chinese mobile apps including PUBG have been banned.
New Delhi: The Indian government has once again banned several Chinese mobile apps amid the ongoing standoff with China on the border. According to information, 118 more Chinese mobile apps including PUBG have been banned. Chinese apps were banned by the government earlier. The government recently banned the first 59 apps, including the popular app TikTok. Later, the government banned 47 more apps. Today, once again, 118 apps, including PUBG, have been banned from the government.
According to an order issued by the IT ministry, apart from PUBG, apps like Baidu, APUS Launcher Pro have been banned by the government. At the end of June, the Indian government announced a ban on 58 Chinese apps in India, apart from TikTok, which included several apps such as ShareIt, UC Browser, Shein, Club Factory, Clash of Kings, Helo, Mi Community, CamScanner, ES File Explorer, VMate. Later, 47 more apps were banned from the government in July. The government claimed that all these apps were involved in some such activities, which could pose a threat to the sovereignty and integrity of the country, the security of the country, the security of the state and public order, etc.

The Indian government once again banned 118 Chinese apps. These apps also include the name of Pubji. China's 118 other mobile applications have been banned by the IT ministry. The Ministry of Information Technology had received several complaints from various sources stating that users' data was being mis-stolen through some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms. Even before that, 57 Chinese apps were banned, including The Ticketock's name.
The move will protect the interests of millions of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision has been taken to ensure the security, and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.
