Weekend lockdown ends in UP, now only on Sundays, state markets
The Yogi Government of up has now announced to hold the Uttar Pradesh Weekend Lockdown in the state just one day a week. The government has now decided to impose lockdown (Weekend Lockdown in UP) in the state only on Sundays under the rules of unlock-4.
Reviewing the conditions of unlock-4 in up, the Yogi Government of the state has now decided to put a lockdown in the state on Sundays only instead of Saturdays and Sundays. The chief minister said that the market will open from 9 am to 9 pm. The weekly closure of markets in the state will be conducted only on Sundays. The decision was taken by CM Yogi after a high level meeting held in Lucknow on Tuesday.
After the government's decision, people will be exempted from exiting for 6 days a week. However, people will not be allowed to exit on Sunday. CM Yogi has directed the officials to ensure all arrangements in this regard. Earlier, on behalf of the Government, Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari had issued a guideline of unlock-4 in the state on Sunday. Under the new rules, 100 people have been allowed to participate in public programmes in the state from 21st September. In addition, rules have also been framed for teachers to call schools for metro rail operations and online education in the state.
