CBI will investigate Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The Supreme Court has justified the CBI investigation. While delivering the verdict, the court also said that the FIR of Bihar Police is correct. The Maharashtra government will have to follow the order.

After the decision of the Supreme Court, the Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra and actress Riya Chakraborty got a big shock in this case.

Explain that after completing the hearing in this case on August 11, the court reserved the order. Justice Hrishikesh Roy, who was hearing, had allowed all parties to submit brief written notes on their arguments by 13 August. All the parties had filed their reply on 13 August.

The Maharashtra government and Riya Chakraborty demanded the court to hand over the FIR lodged by the CBI to the Mumbai Police. This was strongly opposed by the Bihar government and the lawyer of Sushant's father. Actor Sushant Singh, who was found dead on June 14 in his flat in Mumbai, had brought his girlfriend actress Riya Chakraborty to the Supreme Court. Riya filed a petition against him, seeking transfer of the FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai.

''Riya is facing allegations''

In the FIR lodged by Sushant's father, Riya was accused of harassing Sushant, embezzling his crores of rupees and abetment to suicide. Even before the hearing of the case in the Supreme Court, the Bihar government recommended to hand over the case to the CBI. This was accepted by the central government.
